International Exhibition of Printing Communications Opens in Plovdiv

Plovdiv, South Central Bulgaria, May 5 (BTA) - More than 420 manufacturers and distributors from 36 countries are taking part in the PRINTCOM International Exhibition of Printing Communications which Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Education and Science Minister Daniel Vulchev opened here on Tuesday. The exhibition will be on until June 9. The exhibits cover paper and cardboard, packings, printing materials, production and copying ecuipment and materials, desktop publishing systems, printing machines, printing and publishing services and printing products. The PrintCity alliance of the worldwide graphic arts industry is organizing a "Trends, Innovations and Value Added Printing" Seminar within the framework of PRINTCOM. Lecturers from Germany and Austria have been invited to the seminar. Representatives of branch organizations of Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Albania and Turkey are planning to draft an agreement on the establishment of a Balkan forum of printers unions. The new international organization will be established in the autumn of 2007. LY/LG /СН/
